It's been while....
Aight here's the scoop: It's true I did in fact leave ol' Cartoon Network a while back ago. It was hard but I felt like I needed the change. After 7 years of service it finally happened. I do in fact miss all my ol' hommies there, but ever since Billy & Mandy ended it hasn't felt the same there. The vibe's completly different. I never really got to express to anyone why I had to go, but really I was gettin' a bit burned out in animation. I guess being in the game for over 10 years will do that. So as it turns out I ended up leaving a good show to go to Disney and working on a not so good show. Whatever, right? It seems like good shows are become rarer and rarer. They've become like bigfoot; Some people only claim to have worked on one. Question is, How much longer can I take it in animation? Who knows. Maybe another year maybe another 10. So end this shit on a good note: Much love & respect go out to the Billy & Mandy/Chowder crew. Maybe we'll all work together some day on another show. Maybe.

"How much longer can I take it in animation?" Wow, I think that's a question all of us in the industry keep asking ourselves more regularly now and yet, most of us still manage to stay in it and somehow we can't break free from it - NOT YET! Well, regardless of how much sooner or later the transition to something else happens, just try to always see the positive side of any project you're working on, even though it seems like a "not so good show". Also, even though there's a lot to be said about longevity, the one thing fun about moving around in animation is meeting new people. Some you may like, others you may prefer to not work with ever again if you had the choice but still, it helps you build character. It was a privilege to have worked with you when you were still just this "minor" plucked out of kindergarten but was too damn talented for WB to pass on :D And it was great to have worked with you again on Billy & Mandy 10 years later and I must say you've become one of the really good board artists I've worked with. So, SUCK IT UP MISTER AND STICK IT OUT WITH US A LITTLE WHILE LONGER!!! The way animation is anyway, I'm sure we'll all be working together again. Play on, player!!!
